Testimonial: Judy Corbeil, Licensed Nurse
“After many years of working in long term care facilities I am happy to be part of a program that helps not only those that attend our Center but gives their caregivers respite as well. At the Friendship Circle our clients can meet new people, make friends and participate in games, conversations, music programs, exercise, art demonstrations as well doing their own art work and enjoy lots of entertainment!
As a licensed nurse I:
Testimonial: Mara Carrion, CAN
“I’ve been at the center for about 4 ½ years and have enjoyed every day. It is a warm and friendly small place. We get to know our families as well as our clients. Being small means that everyone gets one-on-one time. We also share activities with the nursery school in our building. It helps keep us all young.”
Testimonial: Sally Southerland, Program Director
“I opened Friendship Circle 18 years ago because I saw a growing and under-served need. Providing seniors with extended quality of life, respect, and dignity is increasingly important. Having worked in elder care for many years, I felt the need for a service to provide both a personal care service and a community for participants, caregivers, and families.
Our bottom line is: we care about seniors.
Our goals are met when every person has a good day. Through the years our participants, caregivers, and families and staff have shared joys and challenges. Together we have built, rekindled, and renewed special memories.
I believe in what we do, how we do it, and mostly why we do it. I appreciate the opportunity to be part of this Circle, and am thankful for each “friend” who benefits from our services.”
